Meet Our Team

Lisa has been with Springwater Dental since it's doors opened in 2016. She started her dental career in 2000 when she graduated from the Level II Dental Assisting  program at Georgian College and has maintained her certification with the Ontario Dental Assistants Association. Later in 2003, she completed the Dental Hygiene program at Georgian College as well.  After working full-time as a dental hygienist for 5 years she branched off into Treatment Coordination and Administration/Office Management.  This is where she found her niche!  Lisa enjoys the daily interaction with patients and loves helping them learn about their treatment and how to navigate the insurance aspect of dental care.  You will see Lisa in all areas of the office and she welcomes your questions and feedback. Outside the office she is busy with her three boys and enjoys singing, reading, and snuggling with the family pets “Peanut” and 'Oliver'.

Tyna joined the Springwater Dental team in April 2022 and brings with her over 20 years
of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. After graduating in 2002 from Cambrian
College in Sudbury, Tyna moved to Huntsville, Burlington and then finally decided to make
Springwater her home. She has been a resident of this community for over 16 years and
loves living here! Along with her husband, 3 children and dog, Tyna enjoys the great
outdoors and spends most of her summer camping, hiking, and travelling all over the area in
the family trailer. Helping patients maintain optimal oral health while keeping patients
comfortable during their appointments has been Tyna’s goal throughout her career.

 Ashley joined the Springwater Dental team in June 2022. She brings 10+ years
experience in the dental field. She grew up in the Springwater area and graduated from
Georgian College in 2012. She strives to make people feel comfortable at every appointment
and wants to ensure everyone leaves with a healthy, confident smile. She will greet you with
her bubbly, outgoing personality and is easy to recognize with her bright orange shoes!
Ashley spends her down time with family and friends.

Officially coming aboard in April 2025, and with over three decades of dental experience, Sheri is the newest member to join our Springwater Dental team. 

Sheri's journey in dentistry began in 1989 as a Dental Assistant, where she honed her skills for six years before pursuing her true calling in Dental Hygiene. After graduating from Durham College's Dental Hygiene program in 1996, she's spent her career creating comfortable and caring experiences for every patient who sits in her chair. True to her personal motto, 'The Best Smiles Come from the Heart,' Sheri brings genuine warmth and compassion to every patient interaction. 

Sheri enjoys exploring trails with her Labradoodle, cheering on the Barrie Baycats and hunting for treasures both metal detecting and thrift shopping. She shares her Barrie home with her husband and elderly father, while her children have recently begun their own life adventures.

Shianne graduated from Everest College in 2009. Her love for children led her to employment within a pediatric dental practice for her early years of her dental assisting career. Since then, she has been trained in all areas of Dental Assisting including sedation, surgery and endodontics. Shianne thrives on creating a warm and relaxing environment for dental patients, helping them to feel comfortable and at ease. Shianne is a proud mother of 3 children, and a ‘dog mom’ to a Shar-Pei named Winnie. In her spare time Shianne finds pleasure in cooking, gardening, natural therapies and most recently raising chickens!

 Melissa graduated from the Level II Dental Assisting program at Georgian College in
2005. She is an active member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association. When she is
not working with the team at Springwater Dental she enjoys spending time with her three
children, husband, and two dogs.
